2. The other way to earn cash is to directly market our site. We will provide you with leaflets which you can duplicate. These will have your own promotional discount code on them. When a customer uses this discount code to buy something from our site they will get a discount and you will be payed 5%. So you can literally print thousands and hand them out to people and businesses in your area in your area. Even if a small percentage of people start buying you will start earning real money. A good place to give these out is in your local flea markets and swap meets. To your local discount stores. And just to your friends who are interested in making money.

1.      I think that online selling is the quickest and most effective way to make money. There are 3 main online selling sites in Australia. They are Ebay.com.au, Craigslist and Oztion.com.au. Ebay.com.au is a very good place to start. It is set up so that anyone can use it. You only need the very basic computer skills. Here are the basic steps for you to start making money on these sites. I started just this way..

A          Go to your local post office and open a “charge account”. Copy this link to your web browser:

This will give you much cheaper rates then just sending normally. It is very quick but you will need to get an ABN number. You can get one here: http://www.abr.gov.au/ABR_BC/.

C          Come back to this site Bulklots.com.au choose you lots and wait for the delivery. It is important to note that when choosing lots for sale on line its best to buy items which are smaller in size and greater in value. Also chose the items which won’t break in the post. Toys, clothing, home ware, tool, novelty, gadget lots are recommended. Our lots are specifically designed for this sort of selling. Each lot will be mixed full of different items. You won’t get too many of the same item. For online selling one of the most important things to remember is that the more verity you have the more you will sell. For example if you can sell say 3 of the same item a week on Ebay.com.au, then if you have 100 different items you will have 300 sales a week. It’s just that simple. Even if you only make $5 - $10 a sale, that’s $1500 to $3000 a week in your pocket. And believe me it’s very easy to sell 300 items a week on Ebay. Just have a look at some of the big seller’s monthly feedback to see how much they sell.

D          These are probably the most important hints for selling on ebay that I can tell you.

1.         When you get your lots, list all products at once for 5 days. (variety sells.)

Make sure that you set the auction to end at between 6-9pm. Basically list them around this time.

2.         When setting the shipping costs make sure that you include all the handling, packing, and ebay fees in them and a few dollars for extra expenses. Learn from the big sellers !!!

3.         When setting a starting price I would put the cost price or 99c. People love this and this will really get the traffic going to your ebay store. And remember all the big sellers make some money from the shipping and so should you. But at first if you are worried just put the cost price as the starting price for most items and some at 99c. You won’t make money on all items but this way you will make more on some and less on others but over all this is the best way to sell on ebay.

4.         Study the big sellers, how they describe their product, what they charge for shipping and so on. Here are some big ebay sellers:

If you follow these steps you will become a power seller in no time. And remember we are here to help you along the way. 5.         Set up you garage or spare room as storage and packing space.

The other great way of making money is selling at your local flea markets and swap meets.

If you already own a physical store anywhere in Australia, we can supply you. Our stock changes regularly so if you see something that you like don’t put off buying it because once it’s gone it could be a long time before we are offered it again. We only try to buy good selling lines. Our years of retail experience, allows us to pick out the god from the bad. We always pay the best price and we pass on the savings to our customers. This is why we only sell in lots and not individually. There are a lot of advantages in buying mixed pallets. In a pallet you won’t get many of the same lines. In many cases you will receive 1-2 of each item. This means that you have much more variety to sell and you won’t get stuck with any hard to sell lines.
